Who we are

The short version

• We collect what the product needs to watch items for you and ping you. Not more.
• We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We are not an affiliate deals site.
• We keep your data while you have an account, and delete it when you close the account (timing [TBD]).
• You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.

What we collect

When you join the waiting list

• Your email address.
• Optionally, what you said you would watch first, and how you would like to be pinged.
• Which page you signed up from.

We use this to send you one message when your spot opens and to decide what to build first. If you ask to be removed, we delete the entry.

When you have an account

• Account: your email and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
• Watches: the items you watch, the links you paste, the names you type, the target you arm, and any optional filters (distance, budget, "I already own one", buy / sell / research).
• Readings: on every recheck, the price we saw and a fingerprint of the listing. This history is how we tell a real move from a fake one.
• Pings and replies: each ping we sent, and whether you replied BUY, SKIP, or HOLD.
• Notification details: whatever the channel you pick needs. Email needs your email; push needs a device token; text, when it exists, needs a phone number.

Photos

If you upload a photo of an item, a box, or a shelf tag, we send it once to an AI vision service to guess the name, brand, model, and barcode. The service and its retention terms are [TBD]. How long we keep the photo itself after the guess is [TBD]. Photos are optional; you can always type the name instead.

Technical logs

Our servers keep ordinary request logs (IP address, browser type, time, page) for security and debugging. Retention: [TBD]. We do not use third-party analytics or ad trackers on this site.

What we do with it

• Recheck the pages you gave us and decide whether a move is real.
• Send you a ping on the channel you chose.
• Show you your own history and replies.
• Keep the service secure and fix problems.
• Send you messages about your account. We do not send marketing email unless you asked for it.

Who else sees it

• The stores you watch. Rechecking a page means our server visits it, identified as Nab Price. The store sees our request, not your account.
• Service providers that host our servers and database, send email and push notifications, and (for photos) run the vision model. They process data on our behalf under their own terms. The list is [TBD] and will be published here.
• Nobody else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We would disclose it only if the law required it, and we would tell you if we were allowed to.

Cookies

The public site sets no cookies. Signing in to the app sets one session cookie so you stay signed in. That is all.

How long we keep it

• Waiting-list entries: until you are let in or ask to be removed.
• Account data, watches, readings, pings, and replies: while your account exists.
• After you delete your account: removed within [TBD], except what backups hold for up to [TBD].

Your choices

• Change or delete any watch at any time.
• Change how we ping you.
• Ask for a copy of your data.
• Delete your account, from "How to ping me" in the app. It asks for your password, removes every watch, reading, and ping, and closes the account. You can download a copy of your data from the same place first.
• Ask to be removed from the waiting list by replying to our email.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA. The formal statement of those rights is [TBD]. Ask and we will honour them.

Children

Nab Price is not for children under 13 (or the age your country sets). We do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.

Security

Passwords are hashed. Traffic is encrypted. Access to the database is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfect; if we have a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so at the top of this page and, for account holders, by email. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
